Harris Creek, join us as we go to the nations and take the gospel to the ends of the earth!

For one week, our team will serve alongside a long-term missionary team in a city in South Asia—home to millions who have never heard the name of Jesus. This is one of the most spiritually urgent places on earth, and God is calling us to be part of His mission here. Jesus said, “Go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19), and this trip is an opportunity to step into that calling together.

ABOUT THE TRIP

This trip is for anyone eager to live out their faith, boldly share the gospel, and learn how to make disciples in another culture. For one week, we will join local missionaries who are laboring among unreached people groups—entire groups of people who have no church to attend, no Bible to buy, and no believers to teach them about Jesus. For many, it is normal to live and die without ever hearing the good news of Christ. Paul writes on this reality and urges the church to go and preach the gospel, “how are they to hear without someone preaching?” (Romans 10:14). We want to do just that.

This trip will immerse you in hands-on ministry: walking the streets, engaging with locals, and supporting the long-term strategies of gospel workers already planted in the region. You will experience firsthand what it means to bring light into spiritual darkness and to encourage indigenous churches to carry forward the mission of God in their communities.

ABOUT SOUTH ASIA

South Asia is vast and diverse, made up of India, Nepal, Bhutan, the Maldives, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh. It is a region of breathtaking beauty—from the Himalayan peaks of Nepal to the turquoise waters of the Maldives. Yet spiritually, it has the highest concentration of lostness in the entire world.

South Asia is the birthplace of Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism, and Jainism, and it is home to hundreds of millions Muslims. The region contains over 2,000 unreached people groups. With nearly 2 billion people—about 25% of the world’s population—only 1.54% are evangelical Christians. That’s an estimated 22 million believers in a sea of billions. To put this in perspective: every week, about 230,000 South Asians die without ever hearing the name of Jesus (according to a 2020 report from the IMB).

The need is urgent. The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are still few (Luke 10:2). Our team will partner with indigenous churches and gospel workers to bring the hope of Christ where it is desperately needed.

For security reasons, we do not list the specific country publicly. Please contact the trip leader for more information.

OUR FOCUS: PERCEIVE | PRAY | PARTICIPATE

Perceive – We will enter with open eyes and humble hearts, taking time to understand the culture, traditions, and primary religions of the region. Like Paul in Athens (Acts 17:22–23), we will observe and learn so that we can share the gospel in a way that connects with real people in their real context.

Pray – We will cover the city and surrounding villages in prayer, believing Jesus when He taught us to pray, “Your kingdom come, your will be done” (Matthew 6:10). Through prayer-walking, we will intercede for the hearts of the lost, the protection of gospel workers, and the advance of Christ’s kingdom. Missionaries often say, “Prayer is the greater work,” and we will stand in the gap, knowing salvation belongs to the Lord (Jonah 2:9).

Participate – Finally, we will join in the work of evangelism and disciple-making. Through conversations with locals—whether in English or with the help of translators—we will proclaim the gospel of Christ, “for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes” (Romans 1:16). We will also encourage and equip local believers and churches, building them up for the work of ministry (Ephesians 4:12).
