ABOUT THE TRIP
Short-term trips are an incredible opportunity to grow spiritually, to cultivate an awareness of the world and needs around you, and to respond to God’s call to make disciples among all nations through personal, servant-minded ministry. As part of their mission of seeing lives transformed through Jesus Christ, Mission of Hope looks forward to introducing you to all the work God is doing in the Dominican Republic.
 
Our Harris Creek team will have an opportunity to impact the Dominican Republic, just as much as the trip itself will have a long-term impact on our own lives. Team members will be a part of building intentional relationships in communities through work projects, ministry activities, and mobile medical clinics. Empowering indigenous leaders leads to sustainable change. When your team works alongside these local churches and ministry partners who know the needs of their communities, you are helping these ministries serve more efficiently and effectively as we share the love of Christ together.
 
These trips are a place to experience God. They are a time to step away from your typical week, get a little out of your comfort zone, and experience life in a different place. Their hope is that your trip refreshes your soul and is a journey you never forget!

As an organization following Jesus Christ, Mission of Hope exists to bring life transformation to every man, woman, and child. With campuses in Haiti and the Dominican Republic, they partner with local churches to transform lives through church advancement, nutrition, education, and medical care.
 
With over 20 years of experience coordinating trips for churches, families, and individuals, Mission of Hope believes that sustainable transformation is possible by partnering with the local churches and indigenous leaders so that ongoing ministry continues long after you go home. 

ABOUT THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC
The Dominican Republic is the second largest Caribbean nation by size and third by population. It is located on the island of Hispaniola with Haiti. Despite improvements in recent years, there is still significant poverty throughout the Dominican Republic. Large communities of Haitian people have moved to the Dominican Republic in hopes of a better life, but they have instead been met with challenges.
 
Located in the middle of the country is our beautiful Jarabacoa Campus. Serving in the Dominican Republic on a trip with Mission of Hope will be a life changing experience for you and your team. At their core, they believe in partnering with local churches, people, schools, and communities, which is how ministry takes place day after day.
